Terms of Service

Effective: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PreFlight ("we", "us", "our") at getpreflight.dev (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Service scope

PreFlight provides:

• Integration health scanning for SaaS applications
• Continuous uptime monitoring and alerting
• Deploy gate controls for CI/CD pipelines
• Revenue reconciliation and drift detection
• Report generation and public trust pages
• API and MCP server access for automation

PreFlight is a development and operations tool. It does not replace your provider dashboards, incident response systems, legal compliance programs, or full-stack observability platforms.

Your responsibilities

By using PreFlight, you agree to:

• Only provide credentials for services you are authorized to access.
• Rotate any credentials that have been inadvertently exposed.
• Review check results and exercise your own judgment before acting on them.
• Maintain appropriate access controls for your workspace members.
• Comply with all applicable laws and the terms of your third-party provider agreements.

Accounts and access

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security risk.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Billing

• The free plan requires no payment and has no time limit.
• Paid plans are billed monthly. Pricing is listed at getpreflight.dev/pricing and may be updated with 30 days notice.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial subscription if the Service does not meet your needs.
• Workspace seat limits are enforced per plan. Contact us if you need additional seats beyond your plan's limit.

Acceptable use

You may not use PreFlight to:

• Probe, scan, or test systems you do not own or have authorization to access.
• Store credentials in violation of your own compliance obligations or provider terms.
• Attempt to circumvent security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.
• Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users' access.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

Intellectual property

• PreFlight and its source code, documentation, and brand assets are our property.
• Your data (check results, configurations, reports) remains your property.
• We claim no ownership over the integrations, applications, or services you connect to PreFlight.

Availability and support

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.
• Support is available through the in-product help system and our documentation.

Limitation of liability

PreFlight is provided "as is." While we work to ensure accuracy and reliability:

• We cannot guarantee that third-party providers will behave as expected.
• Check results are informational. They do not constitute a warranty that your application is free of defects.
• Provider outages, API changes, network issues, and implementation errors in your application can cause failures outside our control.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify PreFlight against claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

Termination

• Either party may terminate at any time.
• We may terminate or suspend your access immediately for Terms violations.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date and communicated to active workspace owners through the product at least 14 days before taking effect.
